Domain & Hosting Terms
Hybrid hosting arrangements
Ausvera may develop and manage websites using WordPress, Framer, Lovable or other suitable platforms according to customer requirements. Hosting is optional and is not included in website packages unless expressly agreed in your accepted quote.
- Ausvera-managed hosting: Ausvera administers an approved hosting arrangement and bills you.
- Client-owned hosting: you contract with and pay the provider directly; Ausvera provides authorised management services only where agreed.
The selected platform, hosting provider, account ownership, billing responsibility and relevant service limitations must be documented in your accepted quote or service agreement. We do not need to purchase hosting subscriptions before a paying client requires them. Ausvera-managed hosting is not yet generally available; any offer requires verification of the selected arrangement before sale.
Hosting pricing and third-party costs
Optional Ausvera-managed hosting starts at $29/month including GST for eligible standard websites. This is not a guaranteed price for every website or platform. More demanding websites, including certain Lovable applications, e-commerce sites and database-backed projects, may require separately quoted hosting or platform fees.
All prices are in AUD and include GST. Applicable setup costs, subscription charges, provider renewal pricing and third-party expenses must be disclosed before you commit. We will not invent provider prices or promise unconfirmed capabilities. Hosting and domain services do not include ongoing website maintenance unless expressly agreed.
Domain ownership and renewals
Your domain must be registered in your correct legal or business name wherever the applicable registrar permits. The domain registrar, ownership, access, renewal responsibility and applicable costs must be clearly documented. Domain registration and hosting are separate services.
A first-year domain allowance of up to $30 applies only where expressly included in your accepted written quote. It is not automatically included in a redesign. Premium domains or costs above the allowance require disclosure and your approval before purchase.
Future domain renewals are not free and require appropriate disclosure and your approval. Renewal responsibility and whether you pay the provider directly or through Ausvera must be agreed before you commit. No renewal charge is made without your prior authorisation.
Website ownership and free handover
Following full payment, you own your agreed custom website deliverables, subject to third-party licensing restrictions, pre-existing materials and expressly disclosed platform limitations. Your existing customer-owned materials remain yours.
Ausvera provides free handover of existing client-owned files, available account and domain access, and agreed deliverables. No separate exit or basic handover fee applies simply because you cancel hosting.
Handover does not promise transfer of proprietary platform infrastructure, third-party licences or materials that Ausvera has no legal or technical right to transfer.
Additional technical migration
Additional technical work to move, rebuild, configure, deploy or troubleshoot your website on another provider may be separately quoted. This is distinct from free basic handover. Additional migration work must be approved in writing before any charge is incurred, and paid before the extra work begins under the agreed payment terms.
Hosting cancellation
No mandatory 30-day cancellation notice applies. You may cancel future monthly renewals at any time, ordinarily effective at the end of the current paid billing period. Monthly services are billed in full in advance with your recurring payment authorisation.
Hosting access may end after the paid period, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations. We will provide a reasonable opportunity to obtain agreed client-owned materials before service termination. We will not impose undisclosed exit charges or interfere with lawful access to your domain.
All applicable Australian Consumer Law rights are preserved. Cancellation does not remove statutory refund rights or agreed handover obligations.
Backups, security and recovery
Backups, storage limits, bandwidth, uptime and restoration services depend on the verified hosting provider and selected plan. We do not guarantee daily backups, unlimited storage, uninterrupted uptime or recovery capabilities unless contractually supported by the verified arrangement.
Your quote or service agreement must identify which party is responsible for backup management, website updates and security under the selected hosting and maintenance arrangements. Different platforms do not offer identical security, portability or restoration capabilities.
Client accounts and data separation
We maintain separate client records of website platform, hosting provider, account ownership, domain registrar, billing arrangements and renewal dates. We use authorised individual access rather than shared customer passwords wherever supported and keep customer website data and administrative access appropriately separated, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Individual service disclosures and existing agreements
Before an individual hosting sale, the selected provider and plan, actual setup and recurring costs, renewal prices and payer, storage and bandwidth limits, backup frequency and retention, restoration capabilities and costs, support limits, account ownership, portability and responsibility for updates and security must be confirmed in the accepted quote or service agreement. These details are not assumed to be the same for every platform.
Existing accepted quotes, customer agreements and historical records retain their original terms, including any previously agreed hosting entitlement. These draft terms must be read with the Terms of Service, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and your accepted quote, subject to applicable law.
