1. Purpose

This policy explains how Ausvera Digital Group handles website project cancellations, recurring subscription cancellations and refund requests.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

2. Website Design Payments

Starter Website Package: $699 including GST, payable in full upfront.

Business Website Package: $1,299 including GST, payable in full upfront.

Premium Website Package: From $2,499 including GST. New projects require full payment of the accepted quoted amount upfront; owner-approved milestones are an explicit exception agreed in writing before acceptance.

New Website Redesign, Logo Design and other fixed-price one-time projects also require full upfront payment. Existing customer agreements retain their original payment terms.

Monthly services are paid in full in advance per billing period with customer-authorised recurring payments. One-time extras require written approval and payment before extra work begins, without affecting statutory remedies.

Development begins only after the required payment is verified and project information is ready.

3. Website Project Cancellation

Customers may contact Ausvera to request cancellation of a website development project.

Where a project has not commenced, refund eligibility will be assessed according to the agreement, any actual work performed, reasonable costs incurred and applicable law.

Where development has commenced, the amount refundable, if any, will be assessed fairly according to the work completed, the agreed project terms, reasonable committed costs and the customer's statutory rights.

Full upfront payment does not automatically mean that the entire amount is non-refundable.

Ausvera will not impose unfair cancellation penalties.

4. Revisions and Redesign Requests

Starter packages include two rounds of reasonable revisions.

Business packages include three rounds of reasonable revisions.

Premium revision allowances are specified in the accepted quotation.

Changes within the agreed scope are handled according to the package's revision allowance.

A complete redesign or substantial change requested after work has been completed may require a separate quotation.

Additional work will not proceed without customer approval.

Corrections required to meet agreed contractual obligations or statutory consumer guarantees will not automatically attract additional fees.

5. Hosting and Maintenance Cancellation

Customers may cancel recurring hosting or maintenance subscriptions at any time through the available billing portal or by contacting Ausvera.

There is no mandatory 30-day advance cancellation notice.

Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Future subscription renewals stop once cancellation becomes effective.

Customers ordinarily retain their paid service until the end of the billing period.

Cancellation of one subscription does not automatically cancel other independent subscriptions.

6. Refunds for Recurring Services

Cancellation does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for a period of service already supplied.

However, customers retain any refund, repair, replacement, termination or other rights available under applicable law.

Requests involving service failures, billing errors, duplicate payments or other concerns will be assessed individually.

Ausvera will not rely on a blanket no-refunds rule to deny statutory rights.

7. Failed or Duplicate Payments

Customers should contact Ausvera promptly if they believe a payment has failed incorrectly, been duplicated or been charged without authorisation.

Ausvera will investigate the matter using relevant payment and subscription records.

Where a refund is required or approved, it will be processed through the appropriate payment provider.

8. Refund Processing

Refund requests can be sent to hello@ausvera.com.au.

Please include the invoice or transaction reference, the relevant service and a brief explanation of the request.

Ausvera may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess the matter.

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method where practicable.

Processing times may depend on the payment provider and financial institution.

9. Website Handover Following Cancellation

Customers retain their agreed rights to customer-owned domains and paid-for website deliverables.

When hosting is cancelled, Ausvera provides free handover of existing client-owned files, available account and domain access, and agreed deliverables, subject to applicable technical and licensing restrictions. No separate exit or basic handover fee applies simply because the customer cancels hosting. Customers will have a reasonable opportunity to obtain agreed client-owned materials before termination.

Additional technical work to move, rebuild, configure, deploy or troubleshoot a website is distinct from free basic handover and may be quoted separately. Written customer approval is required before any charge is incurred, and payment is required before the extra work begins under the agreed terms.

Ausvera will not intentionally obstruct lawful domain transfers or impose unfair exit penalties.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

If a service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to remedies depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
